About Shea

Shea has more than 20 years experience providing Baseball instruction and 15 years of High School coaching experience. He has coached at Oak Hills, Western Hills, Anderson, and Glen Este. He has instructed and coached players at the Professional, College, High School, and T-ball levels. Shea has also assisted and directed baseball camps across the country.

Shea graduated from Oak Hills High School where he received all-city honors and broke records during his high school career. He excelled in varsity baseball, soccer, football, and basketball at Oak Hills, receiving a total of nine Varsity Letters

Shea attended Eastern Kentucky University on a baseball scholarship, and graduated with a Bachelor of Education. He was named All-Conference his freshman year as an outfielder. He participated in the College World Series during his junior year and also played in the Alaskan Summer League, a developmental league for top collegiate baseball players.

Following graduation form Eastern Kentucky University, Shea played with the Boston Red Sox Organization. During this time, Shea received instruction from Baseball Hall of Famer Carl Yastrezmski

Shea has worked with the Cincinnati Reds for 19 years performing a variety of baseball related duties which include; devising the hitting and pitching charts, throwing batting practice to the players, catching in the bullpen, working out players on the disabled list, and assisting in the scouting camps.
